Smitty is a former professional athlete and a coach at Iron Sight Gym. After completing his final year at Jackson State University, he embarked on his professional football career playing Arena Football for the Omaha Beef. In 2015, he was invited to the Washington Redskins Rookie Mini Camp. The following year, he played in Germany's GFL North division for the Hamburg Huskies, completing a full season. After the season, he had a private workout with the Baltimore Ravens in 2017.

Smitty co-founded Next Level Culture LLC with his partner Clark Coe later in 2017. Together, they have worked with hundreds, if not thousands, of athletes. Established in June 2017, Next Level Culture's mission is to elevate individuals' current abilities to the next level. He is dedicated to sharing his expertise and passion for sports with clients, aiming to make a significant impact on their athletic performance.
